Nothing hugely new here, but I do want to take a moment (or ten) to talk about the wallpaper since 1. it's awesome and 2. it's only partially my work.
This particular image is a mod of the cover of Daredevil #57, photoshopped to remove a lot of extraneous text and made to fit my screen, along with some good old fashioned action lines thrown in for good measure. It was drawn by Alex Maleev, who did some excellent work for the series and while I was never particularly a fan of the writing during his run, his art (and the fact that I'm completely addicted to the storyline, no matter how melodramatic and silly Bendis made it) kept me coming back. In any case, because of the simplicity of it, it was a fun image to work with. I love seeing untraditional art like this in comics, _especially_ relatively mainstream ones and I think this one especially is notable because this comic was such a classic silver age comic and unlike many of the old ones has adapted well to both a more modern audience and also a more mature audience- no fancy super powers, ridiculous outfits, and madly grinning supervillains here- just an angry man with a katana that at first glance you'd never know was supposed to be the good guy (and it's never really clear if that's the case in this comic, anyway).

I know what you're thinking: if I'm going to talk this much about my opinions maybe I should start a blog. Who really cares, though? I think I just like the sound of my own voice.
